Hello everyone,
Would be grateful for your opinions/help.
I recently stumbled across this website offering a business opportunity for becoming an unclaimed money recovery agent...
http://cre8recovery.com/
Has anyone had any experience with this?
Thank you

I'm going to go out on a limb, and say any job being marketed like this is likely to be multi level marketing or a scam.
Real jobs advertisements don't have pictures of fistfuls of cash and people working in their pyjamas.

Its not new. All they normally do is go through the regularly
published government lists of uncollected monies, then do an electoral
roll search for the names and contact them and say we can get your
unclaimed money back for a fee.
Hi Jonquil,
How did you with the Cr8 Recovery program ? Did you end up buying it ?
I am considering as well, not sure if its worth the money she is asking – $4000 for the inormation on how to find data base of lost money register ?
Keen to know your feedback ?
Thanks
Niel

I am pretty sure if you research hard enough, you can find this
information yourself. You have to ask yourself this, "If this makes
people so much money, why are they charging 4000$ to start up?" Also,
what do you get for 4000$?
Haha curiosity purposes only, I did a search. Turns out I have
$50 in unclaimed shares after a company takeover. Score! Thanks haha.
she is asking – $4000
That is an outrageous price.
I've seen lots of thread on whirlpool (usually in the finance section) asking about unclaimed money and companies that offer to find it for a fee.
Do a search here. There is at least one where someone posted the links for unclaimed money sites to search for each state, and you can do it yourself for free.
I bet they haven't told you how much you could recover? I'd hate to pay $4000 to be told wow we found you $100.

That was what we used to start our first business.
But we sell things people actually want, and we don't scam people while we're at it.

having nearly bought into a $85K franchise earlier in the year
(that turned out to be a dud). i found the cre8 lost money recovery
program, the Cre8 program was a fraction of the price of the franchise
I'd nearly purchased, so that was a plus. I researched them to bits for 3
months, and they came up very solid-14 year old Australian company,
very upfront, answered all my questions clearly, very straight down the
line, etc.
so I bit the bullet 2 weeks ago & bought their recovery agent business program. It's great, i am very excited about the possibilities and am glad I did.

Hello Jonquil, yes I am having a bad experience with Cre8 as
their marketing and sales material deceives people into buying their
product only to find the nasty surprises in the package.
I have been trying to get a refund since march 2015, went to a Vcat hearing today and they are on my side but I am still not confident of getting the money back

I haven't had experience with this per se, but the company I used
to work for had bought out one of its competitors and part of the
buyout was the existing customers got a payout based on tenure, as it
was mutualised, and the customers were part owners.
Now apparently over the years across the country there were people who never claimed their money and this was to the tune of several thousands of dollars for some people, and whilst this all happened years before I started occasionally we would have cases of people realising.
One day a gentleman came in absolutely livid he had been contacted by one of these unclaimed money chaps who had told him about what he was owed by us and quoted him $500 to recover about $3000 and the customer was furious accusing us of extorting $500 out of him to get his money back. When we put him in touch with the correct people he was quite happy, and called back his unclaimed money chap to thank him for the heads up but he had claimed his money back himself.
Moral of this story: I think the business model has some holes in it. Few people will hand over money without some kind of specific information and once they have the information they no longer need you.

Hi all.
I did purchase the Platnium course about a year ago for just under $6,000.
The info in the couse was all outdated in regards to the websites that were listed in the manuals. You basically have to set up the business by your self and asking questions you get a very basic reply not an in depth step by step answer to help you move forward.
You need to set up a website (which was foreign for me) and lots of envelopes and stamps and you need to be good/ pretty confident on the telephones calling people all day long to make contact with people.
The way the cousre is presented is all over the place and you lose track with whats what.
I see now they are charging an Anual Licensing Fee of $397 every year...What a complete rip off imo. A fee for doing what..Selling outdated course materials.
I did ask for a refund but again no go because of some copyright BS that i have seen the materials etc.
Anyways found another home baed business thats fits me to a tee now so good luck if you wish to waste your hard earned money.
